Privacy

Privacy by default.

The product is engineered so that we have no data to hand over. Here's what that means in practice.

Updated April 1, 2026

What we collect

The minimum required to operate an account: an email for authentication, and billing information forwarded by the payment provider.

We do not collect browsing history, destination IPs, DNS queries, or connection metadata.

Traffic logs

PsyVPN keeps no traffic logs. Relay servers do not record which sites a user visits and do not associate sessions with accounts.

Servers run from RAM and never write diagnostic data to disk.

Sharing with third parties

We do not share user data with third parties except where strictly required by applicable law, and only to the extent that we actually retain such data.

Payment providers (Stripe, etc.) process payment details directly — we never see card numbers.

Retention

Account credentials are kept while the account is active. After deletion, credentials are erased within 30 days.

Technical events (application errors) are kept for no more than 14 days and contain no personal identifiers.
